In brief
How to read a certificate
Sulfur
The lower it is, the less carbon buildup and harm to the catalytic converter and particulate filter.
Cetane number
For diesel fuel: how easily the fuel ignites. The higher it is, the smoother the start and the more even the running.
Octane number
Resistance to knock. Petrol uses the research method (RON), LPG the motor method, which gives lower figures.
Date and number
A certificate applies to a specific batch: it shows the laboratory, date and signature.
Network
The same fuel range across the whole network
Diesel, A-95 and LPG at 10 filling stations, and one more with LPG only.
Currently: the filling station at 13 Zhurnalistiv St. is temporarily closed; the one at 24‑A Korolenko St. sells LPG only.
Questions
About the fuel
Can I put A-95 E10 in my car?
E10 is petrol with up to 10% bioethanol (7.1% in this batch). Whether E10 suits your car is stated in the owner's manual or on the fuel filler cap.
Why is the diesel fuel certificate in English?
It is the certificate of the Greek refinery laboratory where the batch was produced. Parameters and methods follow the European standard EN 590, which also applies in Ukraine as DSTU EN 590.
Is the fuel range the same everywhere?
The range is the same: Euro 5 diesel, A-95 and propane-butane LPG. Currently the filling station at 13 Zhurnalistiv St. is temporarily closed, and the one at 24‑A Korolenko St. sells LPG only.
